I was saying it was slow and I don't care why its not there, but the top is not there which makes it a stupid idea... plus it is possible.. submarines can do it then im sure it wont be long before they actually make one that can go under with a top. THAT IS NOT A FAKE it can really go underwater but im not sure if it has a drive automatic as well ( ibelive it has no) but you can t close the roof jet because the air in the car would be tomuch (auftrieb) the air would lift the car up

True, as this was a demo inside, everything was staged. However, the city you see behind the window is not digital... this is a set we created behind the window to illustrate how this works. Keep in mind this is a fully working prototype. And yes the sounds are pre-recorded. ;)

Indeed that would be horrible. However when closing the virtual blinds of leaves, the window will produce anti sound to cancel out any outside noise and make a quite atmosphere in the hotel room. The outside sound was exaggerated for demo purposes. But the idea is that also in the morning, at your set time, the blinds would open. Not only letting in natural light from outside, but also the natural sounds. Wouldn't that be better than a beeping alarm, or a phone call from reception?

It's all very nice and stuff, but come on - now I can't go to the theatre and next day to the mountains in my 3 series? LOL This whole justification thing in marketing is for morons. X3 - pointless. X5 - nice (big). X1 - why not, just a bit higher 1 series. Its a matter of looks and nothing else. I really like the new 3 series after the latest facelift - before the facelift it was kinda not good enough. Cannot wait for the 5 series overhaul.

I think it looks ok but looks like the same size as the X3. The X3 is smaller than the X5 so I was thinking this would be smaller than the X3. Maybe the roof line is smaller? Also, from the side view, it looks like the bonnet is a bit long. Or is that just my point of view?

If you have read the recent issue of Autoweek magazine, you would know that is was to be released next year as the BMW 8-series. It was supposed to compete with the Mercedes-Benz CL class and the Porsche Panamera (which is being released next year). However, due to the horrible economy, BMW has replied to Autoweek magazine that they will NOT be releasing it in the future. The good news is that BMW is still going to release new models, such as the 7-series hybrid.

Yes, we have the hardware, but we do NOT have the software for this. Even the most advanced speech recognition systems aren't sophisticated enough to interpret freestyle speech. Some allow for hesitations & word choice, but most can only follow defined sentence structures. In addition to this, there is no software yet that can deduce, meaning a program which can take in anything someone says and evaluate what it really means based on things like context, previous knowledge and experience.

I think a lot of people have stucked to the Veyron because it was the one to topple the McLaren's 15-year record, and it just seems shitty that the Veyron held the record only fleetingly before it was beaten by the Aero. Some of you are just being Euro car-snobs, but American build quality is growing exponentially (just look at the Cadi CTS-V). The Aero is probably better in most all the ways that matter on the track, but one thing it isn't is better looking. On that I'll agree.

The handling is proven. It did the slalom faster than anything, way faster than the Veyron, and it posted almost the highest skidpad rating for R&T. That was when it was a prototype. It handles even better now. The Veyron wins 0-60 (the most pointless performance test) but the Aero wins 1/4 mile (way more important). The fuel mileage is EPA estimate like all other cars, and they are always pretty accurate.

The limit does nothing. It barely reaches 253. In one direction. The Aero was accelerating at 257. It was stable up through 273 and it got a new front fascia so it is even more stable. The SSC looks comfortable at those speeds. I don't know what you are talking about. The Aero is full leather and a little less luxury but more comfortable. It is more safe hence better stability. Removing luxury and limiter will do nothing for the Veyron's top speed.

If you're gonna stick with facts and not make up shit, nobody knows the handling, comfort or fuel economy of the Aero. Not many car mags have reviewed it. (more car mags have reviewed the veyron) Fact is Aero is slower to 60 than the veyron, but still has the fastest record. engine displacement is 3x654ccm=1962ccm but if you want to compare with 4 stroke engine, it is twice, so 3924ccm. And 450HP is rather conservative tuning, that engine can push more than 450RWHP-more than 500HP on engine, of course naturally aspirated.

I think you maybe right refus3d, I believe I read it somewhere where it was listed as an R20B engine which makes it about 2.0L. Its sound heavenly but am wondering if 2.0L will be enough 'muscle' to beat the big V12s etc The R26B is a 4 rotor engine and that is rated at approx. 2.6L
