The 2010 BMW Z4 will reach 60mph in 5.7 seconds (rather than 6.1 in the current Z4), and the Z4 M will reach 60mph in just 4.7 seconds. An M4 is in consideration for mid-2010, and that will reach 60mph in just 4.2 seconds because of a 400 horsepower 4.0 liter V8.

Z4s are great and awesome looking, but after looking at plenty of pics and observing it under different lighting conditions, and having repainted my Z4 twice, I have to say that dark colors may very well not suit a Z4. Z4's are made of beautiful cuts and curves. Dark-colored Z4s tend to mess up its look and doesn't reflect its actual industrial design under most lighting conditions. I have gone from Sterling Grey Metallic to Jet Black, and finally to Titanium Silver. Comments anyone?

i have a 2005 z4 and love it, rode form montreal to cali, great trip, pre 2010 z4 could be spotted in a crowd did not even look like other bmw's but this just blends in too much and looks too similar to other cars and bmw's. i think the current z4 will be a classic and a car to remember for it's bold styling, which you either love or hate, all exotic cars are the same, hey not everybody loves ferraris either or porsche. it's a question of taste, i love my z4 and that is all that matters to me..

the car looks good, but i really dont like the back so much. The back of the outgoing Z4 was soooooo well made, if they could just put that on this one, that would be amazing. The new back looks quite dire... THe front looks like a shark with giant nostrils, very agressive. And the interior is amazing, well done on that regard. I guess it is a purchasable car

The rational side of my mind is telling me that I should love this car and be very excited about it. However, the gut reaction simply isn't here. I know German cars are generally known for engineering over passion, but the previous Z4 had something special to it (especially the coupe version).
