The Legendary BMW 850 ci (own a used BMW 850—well worth it!)
The BMW 850 ci is also known as the grand tourer due to its smooth and durable 5 liter V12 engine that lets drive smoothly across towns and countries. From personal experience of driving this superb BMW, I must say that the BMW 850 is one of the best car I have driven. Comparing it with the BMW M3, the 850 is a totally different animal, the M3 is fast and agile but in motorway, the 850 is drives much smoothly and overtaking at high speed can be so much fun. BMW 850 is a very heavy car, just imagine how much that V12 engine weighs, but surprisingly, the 850 doesn't feel heavy at all! It is really a beast in disguise, just look at that “shark’ look at the front and the seating is low and sporty. It is such a pity, BMW has stop the production of this magnificent 850! I did not modify my BMW 850 much as I didn't intend to keep the car for long, so I just changed the wheels to 18” BMW Alpina and a “850” registeration plate for the moment to achieve that sporty yet elegant look. There are many other wheels in the market for the BMW 850, I suggest searching through the websites to see how the wheels / rims will look like on your car before purchasing one.
