BMW modified M3 performance tuning & body kit

L30 BOB is powered by BMW Motorsport M3 (3.0 litre) ENGINE and is tuned up to 300bhp with K&N FILTER, EVOLUTION 2 MOTORSPORT EXHAUST performance system with twin DTM PIPES and SUPERCHIPS programmed to increase the performance of BMW M3 . It is also equiped with AC SCHNITZER SHORT-SHIFT kit. The CHASSIS is dealt with by AC SCHNITZER SUSPENSION performance system and held together by a CARBON FIBRE STRUT-BRACE. BRAKES System are standard Euro - BMW performance M3 items.

Car Body kit

A full REIGER TUNING GmbH Infinity 1 Body kit takes care of the styling which includes deep FRONT and REAR BUMPER and SIDE SKIRTS. Other customized body kits include EYEBROW SPOILER on the head-lights gives the car an aggressive look. PSG custom-made CARBON FIBRE parts are also made to compliment look which includes ROOF SPOILER and DTM FRONT SPILTER. The BOOT SPOILER is also custom-made to fit and is made up of three-piece CARBON FIBRE. The windows are TINTED midnight black by PENTAGON Auto-tint. WHEELS / rims are 8.5"x18" RACING DYNAMICS items shod with 225/40/18ZR GOODYEAR EAGLE F1 tyres. WHITE INDICATOR LAMPS (front & rear) and side-repeaters with 1998 NEW front GRILLE updates the whole look.

Car interior

BMW Motorsport M3 SEATS are covered in CONOLLY hides (LEATHER) and suede to give a two-tone effect. The airbag is taken off to be replaced by a more racing look MOMO Champion STEERING WHEEL. The MOMO horn button is replaced with M Power button. NEW SPARCO horn button extension is fitted on the steering wheel which can be used to control NOS etc. As with the SHORT-SHIFT, AC SCHNITZER GEAR KNOB and aluminium PEDALS are fitted. A set of three RACETECH INSTRUMENTS are placed under the computer to monitor the volts, amps and oil temperature. Centre console is replaced with CARBON FIBRE items and the door panels will soon be replaced with CARBON FIBRE elements. Brake and gear lever GAITERS are retrimmed in suede to compliment the seats. Other BMW options include leather front central ARM-REST, PHONE CONSOLE and rear HEAD-RESTRAINTS.

Car Audio / Car Stereo

COMPETITION SOUND system is driven by PIONEER top of the range DEX-P88R CD HEAD-UNIT and its 12-disc CHANGER. Powered by two PHONEIX GOLD AMPLIFIERS. The PG M100 powers the two JL AUDIO 12W4 SUBWOOFERS in a custom made sealed box and the PG M50 powers the CALIBER REF 5.0 COMPONENT SPEAKERS which has UNI-Q drivers. Cables and fuses are all by PHONEIX GOLD. Sound deadening materials DYNAMAT are used to stop vibrations caused by the bass produced. A sub-woofer level controller is installed in the dash to adjust the bass produced. Steering Wheel REMOTE CONTROL from PIONEER gives finger-tip control. Custom made PERSPEX and STROBES LIGHTS finishes the look.

Car Security / Alarm

This is taken care of £1000 worth of Clifford + original BMW security systems which include exterior and interior sense and tell, total closure, automatic lights on etc.

Performance Upgrades

To increase the performance, Nitrous Oxide/Turbo Systems can give the BMW M3 engine a performance boost?? BMW performance tuner, Hartge can also bored the BMW M3 engine to 3.5 litres. Three-piece rims. More powerful sound system? A wide arc body kit by Rieger / Zeemax? There are many more updated body kit in the market now… Any more ideas?...
